Descendants of Johannes WOLFERSBERGER Generation No. 1 1. Johannes1 WOLFERSBERGER was born Abt. 1694 in Wolschheim, Alsace, Germany, and died in Lebanon, Lebanon Co., PA. Notes for Johannes WOLFERSBERGER: Johannes arrived in Philadelphia 29 Aug 1730 and with him was his wife Margaretha, his sons Peter 9, Frederick 3 and John Jr an infant.They settled in Earl Township, Lebanon County, PA. About 1736 the family moved about 10 miles to the NW into Heidelberg Township, Lebanon County. He was naturalized 11 Apr 1744, and he immediately applied for 350 acre. The survey shows 671 acres. Johannes died on on this land intestate prior to 6 July 1761. His estate was settled 28 Sep 1761. Johannes was born in Wolschheim, Alsace, Germany, in about 1694. Wolschheim is near and to the south-east of Saverne. This village of Wolschheim is located in France, but it in Germany at that time. Johannes father, Johann Erhart married Ursula Emm while living in Wolfisheim. Shortly after their marriage they moved to Wolschheim where he was converted to Catholicism. Ursula was probably Catholic. He died 12 July 1740 at Wolschheim. Ursula was from Buchiberg, near Berne, Switzerland.
