They were married about 1931 Indiana

Robert's parents were: Rufus "Ruff" R. (or K.) and Mary (Trunk) Vincent

Rufus' parents were: Albert Thomas and Mary "Polly" (Holliman) Vincent

Albert's parents were: John and Nancy (McElvain) Vincent

My friend and cousin (by marriage) Shirley is the daughter of Robert and Juanita. She asked that I put this photo on this website in hopes someone will recognize her parents. Robert, his sister and a brother were orphans. Both of their parents died when they were very young. Robert may have been raised by a Mr. Carter. It is not known where his sister Mary and brother James were raised. Robert and sister reunited several months before Robert died, with a 50 year period of not seeing each other. There has been no reunion with the brother James. Both of his parents died in Muhlenberg Co., KY. Rufus is buried in Coleman Cem and it is not known where Mary Trunk Vincent is buried.

Shirley is looking for more information about her father and mother. She is beginning research on her mother, Juanita Turner and her grandmother, Mary Trunk.
