Robert told his daughter that his mother was known as Annie B. however his birth certificate indicates his mother's name was Mary Trunk. His daughter indicates there is mention of an Uncle Jack Vincent on his birth certificate. Mary Trunk was from Hopkins Co., KY. Robert was possibly raised by a Mr. Carter but it is not known what relationship, if any, there was to him. Robert was not able to read or write and this is a known fact by his daughter. Robert told his daughter that he lived and worked on a farm owned by a Mr. Carter in Muhlenberg Co., KY. He and his wife Juanita Turner married in 1931 in Rockport, IN. Robert had a sister, Mary, and they were reunited after 50 years of separation. She was located in Newport, KY. Mary was also an orphan. Robert and Mary also had a brother, James. It is not known who Mary was raised by. At the time of Robert's death, he never learned where his brother James was.
