Research on the Pratt line is for my daughter-n-law's aunt.

A relative of Bonnie's is in contact with her as of July 2008.  Hopefully they will be able to learn more about each other.  I am glad this page has helped connect lost family.

This man may not be related however was interesting because on the association to the indians.

Read several stories that the Pratt's may have been indian.

The Carlisle Indian Industrial School was opened in 1879 and accepted students from nearly

every tribe in the United States during it s 39 years. The Indian School at Carlisle was the idea of

Brigadier General Richard H. Pratt, who was a Lieutenant at that time. In 1879 he petitioned

Congress to establish a school to educate rather than subjugate the red man. He became the

school's first superintendent and the first group of Indian students arrived at Carlisle on the night

of October 6, 1879. The school closed in 1918.

FT. WORTH- Jessie Roy Prratt, 78, a retired machinist, went to be with his Lord

and Savior Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001.

Funeral: 12:30 p.m.m Tuesday at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Burial:

Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral

home.

Deborah's natural father was Charles Elston. Born about 1930. Charles' mother: Elizabeth

Elston. Family story has it he was a musical instrument player in OK. Checked SSDI and there is

no record of a death in OK. This Elston family lived in WA, around Marysville.

When Deborah was 3 mos old, her family moved from KS to PA. At some point, her family moved

to NY and then back to PA and then to TX. Deborah's mother lived in CA and VA, all because of

the military.

Robert Lee THORNTON is the son of James Clinton THORNTON and Eva Mae ROBINSON. He

was born on August 07, 1952 in San Antonio, Bexar Co., TX.
