This is the family tree of Milton Bradley Board Game Inventor My daughter-n-law's grandmother was Heddi Lucille Bradley Regan and family says she is related to Milton Bradley. Heddi's parents are James and Estella Bradley. They were from Lackawanna Co., PA and Bucks Co., PA. My daughter-n-law's Bradley tree. I have pieced together information I found in census records and other people's family trees. There is very little for family trees online at genealogy sites for Milton Bradley. After researching to try to find a connection between my daughter-n-law's Bradley family and Milton Bradley's family, I make no connection. My daughter-n-law's Bradley family came from England, William and Mary Elizabeth (Whitman) Bradley. William was born about 1750 in England. If there is a connection, it would have to go back to England. Perhaps there is some very distant relation but Bradley is a common name in England and the United States. There are children born in each marriage with same birth years. Were these children from previous marriages of these women he married and he adopted them? The researcher needs to check into this. Before long he was producing all kinds of games, and became known as "The man who taught America how to play." One of the things he did was to design game kits for soldiers in the Civil War to help them pass time.
