DEED: CRUDUP TO HENRY CARVER
I John Crudup have this day bargained and sold and do hereby convey to Henry Carver and his heirs forever for the consideration of seven hundred dollars to me paid a tract of land in the State of Tennessee, Wilson County and District No. 25 containing between sixty-five and seventy acres and bounded as follows , beginning at a corner formerly known as the hickory poplar corner
the poplar now standing said corner was the N.E. corner of my Father’s tract of land a part of said tract I am now conveying thence west to John H. Hessey’s line, thence south with said line to the north boundary of a tract of land now owned by Isaac Carver, thence East with said line to Samuel Huguely’s west boundary thence north to the beginning for the length of all of said lines and corners
reference is given to the report of the commissioner that directed and allotted my father’s tract of land between E.B. and R. Crudup and myself and I do covenant with the said Carver that I am lawfully seized if said land have a good right to convey it and that the same is unencumbered and I further covenant with the said Carver and bind myself my heirs and representatives to forever ___________and
defend the rite of said land, to the said Carver and his heirs against the lawful claims of all persons forever this 13 day of May 1850.
